Katharina Born, D

Born in 1973 in Berlin, lives in Paris and Germany. Studied History and General and Comparative Literary Studies in Brussels,Washington D.C., Berlin and Paris.

Graduated from Berlin Journalism School. Most recently, Master II „Politiques Editoriales“ at the University of Paris XIII, Villetaneuse. Freelance journalist since 1996. Prolonged working stays to St. Petersburg, to the Crimean and Kiev. Various journalistic prizes and scholarships.

Since 2003, publishing the works of Nicolas Born (1937-1979) by Wallstein Verlag. Therefore awarded the Ruhr Literary Prize 2007 together with Nicolas Born (posthumously).
