Andrea Winkler, A

Born in 1972 in Freistadt/Upper Austria, lives in Vienna. Studied German Philology and Dramatics. Several years working with young people and in adult education.

Freelance writer since 2006. Delivers literary seminars at the Linz University of Arts and sometimes composes segments for Ö1 (Austrian state radio) and writes articles for Spectrum (supplement of “Die Presse” daily newspaper). Essays in various anthologies, including on Robert Walser, Friederike Mayröcker and Peter Handke.
