3sat Prize 2009
The award donated by 3sat is worth 7,500 euros. The 3sat Prize was donated jointly by the four public television channels ZDF, ORF, SF DRS and ARD.
“Kein Schöner Land” [There is no country more beautiful] won the 3sat Prize in 2008
In the play-off against Clemens Setz, Patrick Findeis won the 3sat Prize worth 7,500 euros for his text “Kein schöner Land” in 2008. His juror Burkhard Spinnen voted for a text for which the author and his concern “have found a wholly coherent language where the characters’ contemporary problems perfectly harmonise with the ancient tragic themes of demise”.
Margit Czöppan presented the 3sat Prize to German author Patrick Findeis. In the background, presenter Dieter Moor and juror Daniela Strigl.
