Paul Jandl (Wien)

Born in 1962 in Vienna, lives in Vienna. Studied German Philology and Philosophy in Vienna. From the end of the 1980s freelance critic and cultural journalist for Austrian and German print media.

Multiple essays and profiles on the German-language literature. Works for radio stations. Since 1998, Austrian cultural correspondent for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Visiting professorship as Max Kade Critic in Residence at the Washington University St. Louis 2008.
