HILDEGARD ELISABETH KELLER
Wilde Wasser am Wörthersee [Wild waters by Lake Wörthersee]
On old pictures, small naked people – the souls – are skulking along across bridges that are barely wider than the blade of a sword. Will they ever reach the shore? What does it look like there? And how is it this year by Lake Wörthersee?
Hildegard Elisabeth Keller is a jury member of the Festival of German-Language Literature for the first time this year.
SUSANNE KRAUSE
Kiaras Schaukelpferd Janine [Kiara’s rocking horse Janine]
Die nächsten fünf Stunden [The next five hours]
Two short stories
Susanne Krause was born in 1988 in the country of a crumbling socialist regime. She has little time for literary texts in addition to her job placement at Süddeutsche Zeitung. And in autumn, the young author also started a degree in philosophy in Munich.
