André Vladimir Heiz (Biel-Bienne)
Heiz was born in 1951. He teaches applied semiotics, aesthetic theory and design methodology at universities at home and abroad.

Since André Vladimir Heiz’s “Satz zum Gesamtkunstwerk” (for Harald Szeemann), his scientific, theoretical and artistic activities have revolved around the attributes of signs.

As a concept man and as a moderator of numerous “Salons littéraires” and podium discussions, Heiz is a passionate participant at the Leukerbad literature festivals.
For several years André Vladimir Heiz has devoted much time to semiotics research. As a publisher, he is currently developing a paperback series on design principles entitled “Didaktika”.
