TDDL 2008 on the web, on radio and TV
The readings and discussions will be transmitted live in 3sat and on the internet. In addition, in this 31st year of the event there will be plenty of highlights on radio and television.
Once again this year the 32nd German Literature Days will be media savvy. Live broadcasts, news coverage and information will be on television, on the net and on radio.
The Bachmann competition goes out online this year in seven languages. All the texts, discussions and commentaries will be translated into English, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech and Slovenian.
All the texts will be on our internet pages to read simultaneously with the event or for later reference. Portraits of jurors and authors, background information, summaries of discussions and of course plenty of up to date coverage.
In addition, video portraits of authors and all readings and discussions are provided as video in Windows Media format.
Ernst Janesch, Barbara Johanna Frank and Iris Hofmeister are responsible for organization and information. Nikolaus Polak is in charge of website technology. Johannes Puch and Anton Wieser will provide up to date photos.
